JOURNAL RANK
Jurnal Manajemen dan Bisnis Equilibrium (Jurnal MBE) is committed to ensuring that the evaluation and publication of manuscripts are conducted fairly and transparently. A conflict of interest may arise when financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other relationships could influence, or reasonably appear to influence, the preparation, review, or publication of a manuscript.
All authors must disclose any financial or non-financial relationships that may be relevant to their work. These may include employment, consultancies, honoraria, research grants, ownership of shares, personal relationships, institutional affiliations, or other interests that could be perceived as influencing the research.
Authors must disclose all sources of funding and describe the role of each funder in the study, manuscript preparation, and decision to submit the work for publication. Each author must provide a conflict-of-interest statement during submission. If no relevant conflict exists, authors should state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
Editors and reviewers must disclose any relationship or interest that could affect their impartiality. A person with a potential conflict must notify the Editorial Team and withdraw from handling or reviewing the manuscript. The journal will assign the manuscript to an independent editor or reviewer when necessary.
Editors and reviewers must not use unpublished information obtained through the editorial or peer-review process for personal or professional advantage.
The Editorial Team will assess disclosed conflicts and determine whether further action is necessary to protect the fairness and credibility of the review process. Relevant disclosures may be published with the article when appropriate.
The disclosure of a conflict does not automatically constitute misconduct or prevent publication. The Editorial Team will consider whether the conflict could affect the research, its interpretation, or the editorial process. This approach reflects guidance that authors, reviewers, and editors should disclose relevant relationships and activities, while editors should ensure that reviewers with potential bias do not assess the affected manuscript.
