AUTHORSHIP

AUTHORSHIP CRITERIA

Authorship of articles published in Jurnal Manajemen dan Bisnis Equilibrium (Jurnal MBE) must reflect substantial scholarly contributions and responsibility for the work. Each person listed as an author must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. make a substantial contribution to the conception or design of the study, the acquisition of data, or the analysis or interpretation of data;
  2. draft the manuscript or critically revise it for important intellectual content;
  3. approve the final version to be published; and
  4. agree to be accountable for the work and to help ensure that questions about its accuracy or integrity are appropriately addressed.

All individuals who meet these criteria should be listed as authors. Individuals who contributed to the work but do not meet all authorship criteria should be acknowledged, with their permission, and their contributions should be described accurately. Gift, guest, and ghost authorship are not acceptable.

Author Responsibilities

The authors must agree on the author order and identify the corresponding author before submission. The corresponding author must confirm that all listed authors have reviewed and approved the submitted manuscript, meet the authorship criteria, and agree to its submission to Jurnal MBE.

Any request to add, remove, or reorder authors after submission must include a written explanation and the written approval of all authors, including any person being added or removed. The Editorial Team will review the request before making a decision. Authorship disputes that cannot be resolved among the authors may be referred to the relevant institution.

Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Any substantive use of such tools must be disclosed in accordance with the journal’s Generative AI Policy.
