Abstract

Natural lighting is useful for providing clarity of vision, to recognize an object during the day without the help of artificial lighting. Artificial lighting is lighting whose source does not come from nature, but is obtained from artificial light sources / human production. thus, the need for equipment made / produced by humans to obtain artificial light. Pasar Rakyar Gianyar is one of the important facilities in the trading system in Gianyar City. This research study aims to evaluate the natural and artificial lighting system at the Gianyar People's Market. This research study was conducted with the method of case studies and literature studies. Based on the literature study and case study, the natural lighting system at the Gianyar People's Market is not effective in meeting the needs of natural lighting in the Gianyar People's Market building. While the Artificial Lighting system has met the needs and efficiency of the Gianyar People's Market Building.
